So today is one of those days where I'm needing to be reminded of this......

Yes, my child is driving me crazy and the weather stinks (it's just a rainy mess....I want a big beautiful SNOW, dad-gum-it....)

I'm very much aware my attitude isn't the best at this moment. It is LIFE tho. It's the ups and downs that continue to make us what we are.

On a happier note....I'll share with you something that is simple to make.
If you are wanting to do a 9x13 dish
I spread my can of peaches on the bottom
Cut the crust off of my bread and then cut my bread to lay on top of the peaches.
I don't cut my bread up to small tho.
I then beat together 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour, and 1 egg. Put mixture over the fruit and bread. If it seems to dry... I add just a little of the peach juice to it. I love to add a dusting of cinnamon to the top before putting it in the oven, too!
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until it is brown enough for you.
We think it is yummy! .....especially with a little vanilla ice cream.

We are free to love each other---WE ARE LOVED!

I still can't get away from the study from our Sunday school lesson. Maybe the Lord is truly trying to do something within my own heart, and I'm just becoming an open book with my thoughts. I don't know, I'm usually one that doesn't say a whole lot, but I guess I feel like if I don't share than I will be quiet like so many others in the "church world". I want to be known as one that LOVES and does it with a pure loving heart. I am not going to lie...there have been things and circumstances that have been hard and I could of allowed them to make me bitter or cold hearted. For a time, I did not understand why some could say the things and do the things to me or my family. When you mess with family it becomes so real and hurtful! I then realize that I am only responsible for my actions! I know I've fail over time and again but I am human like all others and truly seek to learn and be more like Jesus. I have such a long long ways to go, I know. I'm just thankful how HE is truly teaching me and guiding me to live with JOY and not with resentment and bitterness. I have been playing this song on the piano at home and found a video on YouTube. It is simple but so powerful. I hope you enjoy and let it become a song within your heart.

In one part of our Sunday school lesson it was about the parable of the 2 sons that were ask to go to the vineyard to work. Jesus used this parable to teach the chief priests and the elders.
In the parable Son #1 said he would not go, but then went. Son #2 said he would GO, but then did not. The Lord teaches the religious people that people can be forgiven like Son #1--
that said I will NOT then repented and went.
What I learned is whatever you've done the Lord can forgive and then we must not give claims to the Lord and then not live up to them like Son #2 did.
The Lord (or the Church) is operating a hospital for sick and hurting people it is not just a museum.
Please don't stay away from the Lord(or his church) because someone is a hypocrite in your opinion. Stay with the Lord who is not a hypocrite and then help the hypocrite improve their life.
Hypocrisy is sinful and it's damaging to the body of Christ.
Let's be Genuine people!

Matthew 21:29
The 1st Son -said he wouldn't go but then did.
He was honest
He saw a need to change his mind
He came back on his own accord

The church is like the vineyard
Mark 16:15 Go ye ---means Go ME into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

If we don't commit to it and then come back we still need to be willing to obey our father's commands.

The 2nd Son---said he would but did NOT
What he said was good.
What he did was NOT
Those that say they will come to worship and don't.

Then the beautiful part is the Father "GOD"
He didn't force them to obey ....we are not robots.
It was a dear invitation saying "Son" go work today Matt.21:28.
It was a necessary command but it was not forced.
In reality neither one of the sons reactions was the best. We should say we will and then we go and do. The best example is Jesus in Luke 22:42 when he says, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup away from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine,be done.
Jesus is the perfect son--Said he'd go to the cross went and He did it for all!

I just Love how HIS words can speak to us and live within our own hearts. We just need to allow him to do a work within us.

Just something that is on my mind and on my heart!

Does anyone else ever feel burden for those that you know that are hurting, lonely, and that have trials/cares in this world?

To be honest with you, the last couple days I've been thinking about a few that I know that are in rough patches in their life. I want to help and I'm burden down with what "little  old me" can do. Sometimes it just seems like it is just to much to bare. I am soooooo thankful for a Heavenly Father that cares and will carry these burdens for us. Many times (myself included) make Jesus the last one that we cry out to. He will LOVE us more than any other and he will always carry us thru.

Here is another little tidbit also......(which is sort of awful for me since I'm a pastor's daughter, but I know how lonely it can be) Please remember your pastor and family. They are just regular people too just like you and I. They get lonely and hurt when people seem like they don't really have the time to speak or love on them.
EVERYONE feels the need for LOVE!

My prayer and desire is that all would be so much in the body of Christ that they would just SIMPLY love!
We all need each other.

Dear Heavenly Father make us people that care and truly love with our whole heart!
In Jesus name, I ask these things ~Amen

This is a post that I believe is so beneficial to all

The other day I was surfing the web and happen to come upon this topic of MARRIAGE. I listen to all 4 parts and totally believed everything this pastor talked about and found it to be such a helpful encouragement to those who seek to do what Jesus would have us to do.

Please take the time to listen to all of this.
I truly believe we need to fully understand and have a heart to teach this to people. There are so many just in my circle of friends that seem to have such a selfish love, and you can just see that if they don't change their way that it is going to cost them greatly.

Part 1

Part 2

 Part 3

 Part 4

I pray this will help some that desperately need to be reminded of the vows they spoke on their wedding day.

Marriage is a beautiful thing!
We must keep it holy and sacred!

I look up to my husband as the head of our home.
Thank you Lord for the Love that you gave us.

This is really true...I just had to share.....The Women Living Well Book Club - Chapters 9 & 10 {Marriage is a Challenge}

It's Valentines Month here in our home.

Hello to all my blogging friends,
I thought I'd take a few moments and share what I have taken pictures of so far this month. I haven't taken very many because the kiddo and I have been busy with tackling school work.  My close friends know how much I love to spend time decorating my home with a limited budget. I mostly just shop in home and come up with ideas that I can do without spending our hard to come by cash. I'm sure many of you in this economy know what I mean. We seem to work work work and try very hard to put back some into a retirement fund. It seems to be a very slow process and I tell you with most of those around we are not to popular. We just realize we don't want to be like everyone else with debt up to our ears. So we live with what we have and I tell ya living simple is not so bad. It makes one cherish any small treat a whole lot more! So anyhow, with that being said please take a look.

Sugar cookies for my loves.

This Dr.Pepper girl gets it outta a Coca-Cola Machine. A date night at Zaxby's with my hubby
Watch for some other snippets of love thru out the month..............and remember to
Always LOVE!
