Nathan called us on Tuesday at around 5:45 am and said they were at the hospital. Debbie's water had broke around 4:30 AM that morning. I called mom and dad and they said they were getting ready and for me to call when I was ready. We hopped in the car and got there fairly early. Wasn't long and Nate came out to the waiting room and they thought it was going to be several hours yet. Debbie had ask for Mom and dad to come back to the delivery room to pray with them. We sat there in the waiting room several hours. Aunt JoAnn came and then several hours later the Evans got there. Nate text me at 1:46 and said they were waiting on the doctor and the baby was ready to come. Lindsey was born at 2:06 pm on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Nate text me at 2:35 and told us that she was here. I told mom and we started walking towards the doors and in just a few minutes Nate came out and I had the video camera on when he told us she was here.
We started walking towards the room to see Debbie and all of us started getting our hands sanitized when Nathan pulled back the curtain and told us meet "LINDSEY FAITH". We all ohhhh and awwed over the name and then got our first glimpse of her.
It was a moment of magic, tears and love all in one
We all went on Wednesday evening to see them all again. David and Aaron got to meet her as well. Aaron was in awe of the babies. He was excited to meet his cousin!
